Recontextualisation

Recontextualisation could be defined as a secondary reduction of distance, whereas the functionality in the subsystems are changing. There is a shift in the direction of the more capable part.

An example: In mammals, the cubs do not need to forage. This function is provided by the fully developed parents. A shift of functionality took place.
There are three stages of recontextualisaton:
1. The intrauterine state with a placental supply (in Placentialia)  and intracorporal transport and protection.
2. The 'milk'-stage
3. The stage of feeding (not obligate)

In every stage, there is an progress in distance, regarding to the state of development of the cubs.
